About the Journal

Lumora Journal of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery (LJGMIS) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. General, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, breast, trauma and emergency surgery, with particular emphasis on laparoscopic, robotic, endoscopic and other minimally invasive approaches. The journal covers perioperative pathways, enhanced recovery, surgical technology, education, quality improvement, complications, outcomes and comparative effectiveness across elective and urgent care.

The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
