From manuscript to published article

1. 01SubmissionAuthor

   Choose a suitable journal, upload the manuscript and required files, review the declarations and confirm submission. Keep the manuscript number and receipt.

   What can affect progress: If no receipt appears, check your account before sending another copy.

2. 02Editorial screeningEditorial office and editor

   We check journal fit, file completeness, ethics and authorship requirements. We may request missing information or issue an editorial decision.

   What can affect progress: Incomplete files return to the author. Passing screening does not imply acceptance.

3. 03Peer reviewEditor and independent reviewers

   The editor invites suitable reviewers after considering conflicts of interest. Reviewers assess methods, results and the support for conclusions through a confidential process.

   What can affect progress: Timing depends on reviewer availability and complete reports. Automated tools do not replace scientific judgment.

4. 04Decision and revisionEditor and author

   The editor issues a reasoned decision. If revisions are requested, submit a revised manuscript and a response to each comment. Further review may follow.

   What can affect progress: Revision can repeat or end in rejection. A revision request does not guarantee acceptance.

5. 05Acceptance and invoiceEditor and finance team

   Billing follows editorial acceptance. The invoice identifies charges, eligible discounts and any approved waiver before payment.

   What can affect progress: Membership, discounts and ability to pay remain separate from the scientific decision.

6. 06Production and author approvalProduction team and author

   Editing, typesetting, proofs, English and Arabic versions, and a graphical abstract form the publication scope. Authors review meaning, numbers, names and the final proofs.

   What can affect progress: Publication requires proof approval and complete metadata, declarations and permissions.

7. 07Online publicationEditor and production team

   The approved version appears on the journal website with its final metadata and files. Use the actual article link and the reported DOI status, where available.

   What can affect progress: An unpublished manuscript is not a published article. A DOI being prepared is not a registered DOI.

8. 08Dissemination and follow-upPublishing team and author

   Each article receives a dissemination plan covering suitable channels and permitted materials. Completed actions, available results and any subsequent corrections are recorded.

   What can affect progress: Planned activity is distinguished from completed work. Selective indexing and citation counts are not guaranteed.
