About the Journal

Lumora Saudi Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and the Built Environment (LSJAUBE) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Architecture, urban design, planning, landscape architecture, housing, building performance, vernacular and contemporary design, heritage adaptation, public space, mobility-oriented urbanism, smart cities, inclusive environments and the social and environmental dimensions of the built environment, with strong attention to Saudi settlements and climatic contexts. Structural and infrastructure engineering belongs in the engineering systems journal, environmental science in the desert-environments journal, and historical documentation without a design or planning contribution in the history journal.

The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, theoretical and conceptual studies, methods papers, protocols, data and resource reports, and research notes that make a clear contribution within its scope. Published by Lumora as a Saudi scholarly publisher, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
