About the Journal
Lumora Journal of Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery (LJDOMS) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Restorative and preventive dentistry, endodontics, periodontology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric and community dentistry, implantology and dental materials. The journal also covers oral medicine and pathology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, craniofacial trauma and anomalies, dental imaging, pain, digital dentistry, education and links between oral and systemic health.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
