Partnerships

Own a journal on Lumora infrastructure

Partners keep ownership. Lumora supplies the scholarly platform, bilingual public site, peer-review operations, production, and preservation. Work can stay inside Lumora operations, include partner production, or mix both — written in the contract.

Lumora is owned and operated in Saudi Arabia. Membership, advertising, and consultancy never influence peer review or editorial decisions.

Societies and professional associations

Society-owned journals keep their name, board, and scope. Lumora provides hosting, peer-review workflow, production, and archive.

Colleges and universities

Faculty journals and school-level titles under lumora.sa, with institutional ownership recorded in the journal masthead.

Research groups and institutes

Specialist titles with a named owner and a Lumora operations contract covering copyediting, issues, and preservation.

Companies and private sector

Research or professional journals where editorial independence is written into the contract. Sponsored content is labelled advertising, never an article of record.

Non-profit and public sector

Mission-aligned journals with transparent funding statements and no paid acceptance.

What a partnership includes

  • Journal path under lumora.sa and optional partner subdomain after DNS is delegated.
  • OJS remains the system of record for submissions, review, decisions, and issues.
  • Production: accepted-manuscript handling, PDF galley, metadata, and issue publication.
  • Governance: editorial independence, named EIC, conflict-of-interest recusal, and a written operations handbook.
  • WebMCP listing so AI clients can read aims, policies, and submission rules.

What it never includes

  • Guaranteed acceptance, impact-factor claims, or purchased indexing.
  • Ghostwriting presented as original research.
  • Undisclosed advertising inside the article record.
