Speed, honestly
We do not promise fixed turnaround times. The editorial office screens every manuscript first; each research article is then reviewed by at least two external expert reviewers. We track time to first decision and will publish measured medians, with counts, once enough manuscripts have been handled.
We do not promise publication in 24 hours, or any fixed time. The Principles of Transparency shared by COPE, DOAJ, OASPA and WAME require review times to be supported by published data, and Think. Check. Submit. warns researchers about journals that promise very short review times. Principles of Transparency and Best Practice ·Think. Check. Submit. checklist
All charges in one place
Submission is free. The APC applies only after acceptance (SAR 2,500 for MHJ, SAR 2,000 for the other journals), including 15% VAT. Optional Lumora memberships reduce the APC:
- Premium: SAR 3,000 a year, 20% off the APC of accepted articles
- Pro: SAR 6,000 a year, 50% off the APC of accepted articles
Membership and payment never affect peer review or editorial decisions, and acceptance cannot be bought.Membership details
Check us as you would check any journal
We encourage every researcher to use the Think. Check. Submit. checklist before choosing a journal, and we hold ourselves to it: named editorial boards, published fees and policies, and plain statements about what is not yet in place.
What we do not claim yet
- Our journals are new. They are not yet indexed in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science or DOAJ, and have no impact factor.
- DOI registration is being set up. We never show a DOI until it resolves at doi.org.
- We claim no SCFHS CPD hours for publishing with Lumora.
- Publication does not automatically qualify for academic or professional promotion. Check your institution’s rules before you submit.
We will announce each milestone (indexing, DOIs, measured turnaround times) only when it can be independently verified.
